He is survived by: his parents, Mary Sweet Bean (Jason) of Connelly Springs and David Loransa Young (Shelli) of Hickory; his siblings, David Young, II, James Wayne Bean, Rosemary Eilerman, Michael Eilerman and Nathan McElwayne; his grandmother Betty Buchanan Sweet; his aunts and uncles, Bernice Allen (Gary "Bo"), Alma "Amy" Banks (Chris), Bobby Sweet, Jr. (Michelle) and Adam Hicks (Melissa); his siblings' children, Nataleigh Young and Dalton Young; and his close friend Kara Frogge. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
