We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2020, at the age of 79, Dorothy Elaine Wilfong (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Derr and Ophelia Wilfong; and her brothers, William Alexander Ellis and Ronald Lee Wilfong. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Wilfong of Knoxville, Deborah Wilfong of Hickory, N. C., Bobby Ray of Conover, N. C., Denise Wilfong of Hickory, N. C., Carol Wilfong of Charlotte, N. C. and Phyllis Michaux (TY) of Hickory, N. C.; and her close friends, O'Neil Morrison and Ruth Odom. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, an abundance of great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
