It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hudson Meadows of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce A. Hudson and Fannie B. Hudson; her former husband Clyde F. Smith; and her husband Fred C. Meadows. She is survived by: her children, David B. Smith (Pamela) of Hickory and Andra S. Williams (Larry) of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Vince Willard (Johannah) of Cary, NC and Krisi Freshour of Asheville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Nora and Henry Willard of Cary, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
