She was predeceased by: her father James Preston Ramseur; and her siblings, Juanita Ramseur Hoke, David Ramseur, Melvin Ramseur Sr. and Richard Ramseur.
She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Rogers Sr.; her children, Carol Gina (Gregory Johnson) of Hickory, N. C., Angela D. Rogers (Rosalind Bishop) of Sanford, N. C., Edward A. Rogers II (Malden Petrov) of Alexandria, Annika Johnson, Sophia Jones of Hickory, N. C. and Felice Overton of Claremont, N. C.; her sister Jean Rutherford of Newton, N. C.; her nieces, Debra Hoke, Beverly Loritz and Michelle Hoke; and her close friends, Alice Clark and Curtis Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
