It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Hilton (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna Hilton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beeler Leonhardt and Pauline Leonhardt. She is survived by: her husband Don Hilton; her children, Larry Dickinson (Betsy) and Paula Gettys (Ryan); her stepchildren, Don Hilton Jr. (Jennifer), Stefanie Reinhardt (James), Shelly Church (Robert) and Melanie Hendrix (Larry); her brothers, Billie Leonhardt (Wanda), Dean Leonhardt (Cheryl) and Jearld Leonhardt (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Heather, Sara, Rachel, Amanda, Alex, Andrew, Bryson, Stefan, Maggie, Dakota and Austin; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Lucy, Silas, Noah, Trent, Blake, Natalie, Josh, Katie, Lexie and Grahm. She is also survived by friends, both those friends.

A long time member and supporter of the Arbor Day Foundation, Edna loved trees as well as gospel music, gardening, reading, cooking and generally helping others.
