It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Maness Fritz (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Bird City, Kansas, who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaye Elizabeth Smith and James Leach Maness; and her sister Rachel Elizabeth Maness (Thomas Richard Williams, Jr.). She is survived by: her husband Dr. William Able Fritz (Bill); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Leslie, Rachel, Elizabeth, Juliana, Jessica, DeAnna, Brittany, Evan, Erica and Emily; and her children, Thomas Richard Williams, III (Dale), Gaye (Rick Meade) and Sarah Proctor. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
