It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Barker Johnson (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Barker and Marzella Barker; and her siblings, Joseph Barker, Samuel Barker and Frances Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, David Johnson of Lenoir, NC and Cynthia Johnson Scott of Hickory, NC; her granddaughters, Shandra Scott (John) of Greensboro, NC and Tiffany Scott of Greensboro, NC; and her great grandchildren, Landon of Greensboro, NC and Elizabeth Bryant of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
