With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Cress Parsons (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on May 27, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Raymond Cress and Dorothy Payne Cress; and her brothers, A. C. Cress (Bud) and Allen R. Cress. She is survived by: her husband Fred Hayden Parsons; her children, Phillip Parsons (Tracy) of Hickory and Teresa Miller (Michael) of Conover; and her sister Marjorie Halsey (Randy) of Newton.
