She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leslie Fritz and Martha "French" Young Fritz; her husband Hubert Leslie Boyd; and her son Richard Whittington Boyd. She is survived by: her son Steven L. Boyd (Vicki T. Boyd); her grandson Nathan Hunter Boyd of Hickory; her brother-in-law Joe Boyd (Janice) of Brevard, N. C.; and her niece Betsy Garconnet (Thierry) of Charlotte, N. C..
