It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Christine Watts of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell John Parker and Mae Crouch Parker; her husband Bill Watts; her children, Diane Watts Hefner and Jeff Watts; and her siblings, James Russell Parker, Coy Lee Parker, Gene C. Parker and Pearl Parker Raines.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Watts (Susan) of Bethlehem, Steve Watts (Donna) of Claremont, Dale Watts (Linda) of Hickory and Robin Watts of Hickory; her daughter-in-law Angie Watts Ross of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Diane Bennett, Kevin Watts, Tiffany Watts, Jessica Watts, Chip Watts, Christy Creson, Ryan Watts and Laura McLeymore.
