It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Mae Watkins (Hickory, North Carolina), born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jones and Bertha McCullough Wilson; and her siblings, James Jones, Herbert Wilson, Grady Wilson, William Wilson, Christine Ramseur, Gracie Pickett and Verlee Pollock.
She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Nathan (Carl) of Williamsburg, N. J.; her siblings, Betty W. Little of Greensboro, N. C., Barbara Wilson of Hickory, N. C., Dorothy W. Hester of Hickory, N. C., Ernestine W. Turner of Hickory, N. C., Edith W. Clemons of Conover, N. C., Richard Wilson Sr. of Hickory, N. C. and Charles Wilson Sr. of Hickory, N. C.; her goddaughter Beverly Loritts; and also Diane Sherrill of Conover, N. C.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
