She is survived by: her friends, Selma and Mary Lou Attayek; her husband Albert E. Showfety of Greensboro; her children, Bert Showfety (Kay), Don Showfety (Susan), Marty Showfety of Hickory and Sandi Sheehan (John) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Katie Pritchard (Eric), Joe Showfety (Faith), Lauren Showfety and Rachael Showfety; and her great grandchildren, Anna Catherine Pritchard, David Pritchard and Caroline Showfety.
