She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clyde Franklin and Annie Elizabeth Player Shrum; her husband James Kenneth "Bill" Hines; her son-in-law Bobby Ledford; her brother Frank Shrum; her daughter Prisca Ledford of Startown; her granddaughters, Casey Mueller (Wayne) of Maiden and Jordan Ledford of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Averie Mueller of Maiden and Liam Mueller of Maiden; and her siblings, Dot Young of Newton, Barbara Huffstetler (Whitey) of Catawba, Ray Shrum (Billie) of Newton and Pete Shrum (Ruby) of Newton. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
