He is survived by: his children, Judy Armstrong (Steve) of Lincolnton, Cindy Clontz (Mark) of Hickory and John Jenkins (Cindy) of Connelly Springs; his grandchildren, Amber Cadle (Jon Michael) of Hickory, Eric Armstrong (Kaitlyn) of Concord, Briana Clontz of Prosperity, SC and Blaine Jenkins; his great grandchild Leeland Armstrong; and his siblings, James Jenkins (Anna) of Hickory and Vicky McIntosh of Granite Falls.
