He is survived by: his wife Carol Dunn McDaniel; his sons, Jamie Lynn McDaniel (Kristie McDaniel) of Valdese and Tyler Lynn McDaniel (Taylor Beaver) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Tyler Williams, Addisyn McDaniel and Knox McDaniel; his brother Tommy McDaniel; and his nephews, Keith McDaniel and Jonathan McDaniel.
