George Allen Arrowood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2021, at the age of 73, George Allen Arrowood (Hickory, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Arrowood and Cathryne Deitz Arrowood; his wife Doris Abernathy; his daughter Christy Armstrong (Eric); his great grandchild George Mac Armstrong; and his brother David Arrowood.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eric Armstrong (Stacey), George Armstrong and Brittany Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Marie Armstrong, Alice Armstrong and Chase Davis; his siblings, Kenneth Arrowood (Becky) of Claremont and Patricia Burgin; and his close friends, David and Gina Shuler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Reformed Church, 3562 Startown Rd., Newton, NC 28658.
