Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gerald Franklin Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 84, on January 5, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank B. Sigmon and Rebecca McAllister Sigmon; and his siblings, Clyde Sigmon, Robert Sigmon, Johnny Sigmon, Margaret Cloninger, Evelyn Hoyle and Rachel Parlier.

He is survived by: his wife Harlene Killian Sigmon; his daughter Julia Sigmon Graham; his grandson David "DJ" McBee; and his brother Jim Sigmon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring of Newton in Jerry's name.
