He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Thomas Grumbling; his daughter Rebecca Muñoz; and his brother Norman E. Grumbling, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Black (John) of Hickory, Wayne Grumbling (Jayne) of Indiana, Tom Grumbling (Jenny) of Arizona and Jesus Muñoz (Rosa) of Florida; his sisters, Esther Daniels of Ohio and Wanda Larson of Florida; and his sister-in-law Gracie Grumbling of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
