He is survived by: his children, Sonya P. Moore of Charlotte and Simon G. Moore of Catawba; his stepchildren, Justin Hill (Tiana) of Locust and Whitley H. Minor (Chris) of Hickory; his sisters, Carolyn J. Connor of Denver and Marilyn J. Woodard of Atlanta; his siblings' children, Anetia Ramseur-Wright of Hickory, Alyshia D. Woodard of Catawba, Phyllis J. Jones of Hickory, Robert C. Ramseur of Hickory and Nicholas O. Spears of Claremont; and his pet Ramses.
