He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Phillips and Louise Phillips; and his siblings, Cecil Phillips and Pauline Hines. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Parker (Michael) of Pensacola, Michael Phillips of Woodruff, SC and Tim Phillips (Kris) of Lebanon, VA; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Huffman of Columbia, SC, Christopher Huffman of Advance, NC, Mark Phillips of Mocksville, NC, April Keller of Morganton, NC and Courtney Phillips of Lebanon, VA; and his siblings, Joseph Phillips of Hickory, Herman Phillips of Claremont, James Phillips of Conover, Paul Phillips of Maiden, Jerry Phillips of Creston, NC and Gladys Mullis of West Jefferson, NC. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
