She was predeceased by: her father Jay Houston; and her grandparents, Neva Lee Byrd, Claude Byrd of Hickory and Thelma Houston of Hickory. She is survived by: her mother Claudia B. Vance; her husband Steve Duncan, Sr.; her children, Kyle Anderton, Jr., Payton Anderton, Steven Robert Duncan, Jr., Matthew Clark Duncan, Katherine Anne Duncan, Avery Mae Duncan and Skylar Faith Duncan; and her siblings, Tia Young and Trevor Vance. She is also survived by loving mother to her children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring of Catawba County in Yvonne's name.
