She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah M. Cater and Dessie Crumpton Cater; and her siblings, Herman Cater, Bernice C. Jones and Mildred C. Ellenburg.

She is survived by: her sister Edith Addison of Toccoa, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
