It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Benfield and Pheribee Icard Benfield; her husband Gene Sigmon; and her brother Don Benfield. She is survived by: her son Brian Sigmon (Marci) of Bethlehem, NC; and her brother Max Benfield (Anna Sue). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
