He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Crafton and LeCora Crafton; his wife Margie Settlemyre; his son Bob; and his siblings, Boyd, Glenn, Shuford, Irene and Doris.

He is survived by: his children, Jim (Vickie), Katie "Libby" and Sandy; and his sisters, Neva and Gail. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
