He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bolick and Ivie Bumgarner Bolick; and his brother Tommy Bolick. He is survived by: his wife Faye Costner Bolick; his son David Bolick; and his siblings, Shirley Hutchinson (Jack) and Ned Bolick.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the heating and cooling at Millers Lutheran Church at 2280 12th Ave NE Hickory NC 28601.
