It is with great sadness that we announce the death of India Kynar Rice of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Donnie Evans and Lanora Pearson Evans; her siblings, Kyllaila Evans (Quinton), Carrie Pearson, Alex Burgins, Kenyatta Nicole Cureton, Nyatre Cureton-Davis (Shawn), Xzaiver Smith, Raheem Littlejohn, Miles Evans and Terrance Watkins; her cousin Keyonah Pearson; her daughter Danielle Coote; her siblings' children, Isaiah, Cyan, Kilaya, Nori, Layonah and Jhakia; her grandparents, Julius Evans and Betty Houser; and also James Simpson. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
