He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtis Cagle, Sr. and Edith Sara Robinette Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Lovell Cagle (Debbie); his sons, Zachary Cagle of Rutherford College and Dakota Cagle of Hickory; his stepsons, Nick Greene (Crystal) and Nathan Greene, Sr.; his grandson Nathan Greene, Jr. of Bethlehem; and his sisters, Peggy Deal of Morganton, Joyce Ann Wilson (Gary) of Morganton and Vivian Taylor (Steve) of Drexel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
