It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James H Griffin of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Griffin and Gerty Mae Rogers Griffin; his sister Emily Ruth Eams; and his son Daryl Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Gaynell Bowman Griffin of Hickory; and his children, Debbie Cale (Eddie) of Ellendale, Dale Griffin of Hickory, Jeffrey Griffin (Lorie) of Bethlehem, Daniel Griffin of Bethlehem and Gary Griffin (Melia) of Hickory. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Hour of Truth Church, 173 Horseshoe Lake Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
