He is survived by: his father James Luther Hampton; his children, Amber Hampton of Hickory and Randy Lee Bivens of West Virginia; his siblings, Cathy Hildebran (Bryan) of Hickory and Josh Hampton of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Zakeyra Leach, Zykez Leach, Zachariah Gilliam and Kendra Moore.
