He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James R. and Faye Chapman Lail; his siblings, Bobby Lail and Brenda Lail; and his grandparents, Troy, Julia Lail, Lon and Lucy Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Russell Lail; his daughter Tonya Lail Millsaps; his grandsons, Aaron Millsaps (Heather), Jonathan and Matthew Millsaps; his great grandchildren, Cheyanne Millsaps, Braydon Millsaps, Stormalynn Millsaps and Serenity Millsaps; his brother Jack Lail (Brenda); his aunts, Mary Leigh Jolly (Fred) and Sarah Ann Chapman Gentry; and his close friend Wyndell Hollar (Anna Mae). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
