She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston H. Lewis and Rose Ada Israel Lewis. She is survived by: her pet Daisy; her children, Sheri Gillette (Wray), Rusty Bunton (Jennifer), Julia Hunt (Allen), Laura Bunton (Robert Hambrick) and Michael Bunton (Amy); her grandchildren, Chase Bunton, Leigh Allen (Clark), Merritt Hunt, Harrison Gillette, Peyson Hunt, Alex Gillette, Davis Hunt, Lila Bunton and Ford Bunton; her great grandchild Henry Allen; and also, Priscilla Whisnant and Glenda Bumgarner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church, Hickory or to Grandfather Home for Children, Banner Elk.
