We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2019, at the age of 89, Janet Ellington Schoonderwoerd (Hickory, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. P. Ellington and Leeselle Morgan Ellington; her husband Jake Schoonderwoerd; and her brother J. P. Ellington, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Dee Hall (Jim) of Hickory, NC, Dana Schoonderwoerd of Hampstead, NC and Lisa Sievers (Ed) of Forest City, NC; her grandchildren, Col. Andrew Blanton (Tracy Banghart Blanton) of Kentucky, Jesse Blanton (Hanh) of Hawaii, Sarah Snyder (David) of Durham, NC and Thomas Sievers of Atlanta, GA; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Michelle and Janet Blanton.
