She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hitaffer and William Hitaffer of Hickory; her stepson Rob Hitaffer of Maryland; her grandchildren, William Eric Hitaffer of Hickory, Emily Anne Hitaffer of Hickory and Molly Nicole Hitaffer; her brother Mack Edison Cook (Peggy) of Hickory; and her niece Rhonda Lunsford of Connelly Springs. She is also survived by cousins, friends.
