He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence V. Huffman and Lottie Estelle Herman Huffman; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bolick, Clarence, Winford and Morris Ray Huffman.

He is survived by: his wife Annie Setzer Huffman; his children, Denise Shook (Michael) of Conover, Kevin Huffman (Darlene) of Hickory and Mike Huffman (Amy); his granddaughter Kim Demetroules (George) of Lake Worth, FL; his great grandchildren, Luciana Demetroules of Lake Worth, FL and Evan Demetroules of Lake Worth, FL; and his pet Sparky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
