He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen Toler Simpson and Lum Simpson of Gilbert, WV.; his wife Christine Gale Simpson; and his daughter Sabrina Gale Simpson. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Simpson Sass (Joey); and his brother James Grimmett of Marianna, WV. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
