He is survived by: his wife Betty Speight Eason; his children, Christopher Leon Eason (Brenda) of Elizabeth City, Cindy Griffin (Tony) of Elizabeth City and Lydia Broza (Michael) of Apex, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Breaux (Pete), Shaine Griffin (Brittany), Nicole Gray (John), Nicholas Broza and Rachel Broza; his great grandchildren, Del, Emily, Peter, Brody, Logan, Brooklynn and Avery; his siblings, Faye Hoffman of Elizabeth City, Margaret Curlings (Jack) of Windsor, Catherine Gardner (Wayne) of Elizabeth City and Earl Edward Eason (Margie) of Elizabeth City; and his sister-in-law Myra Eason of Elizabeth City.
