He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Holman; and his siblings, Paul Holman, Henry Holman, Earl Holman, Hazel H. Walker, Lois H. Kaylor and Irene H. Mise.
He is survived by: his parent Sarah Kitter Smith Holman; his wife Betty Reep Holman; his children, Kimberly H. Lackey of Hickory, NC and Jimmy Bryan Holman of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Dakota Lackey, Dalton Lackey, Chris Holsclaw and Sierra Hildebrand; and his sisters, Betty H. Spencer of Hickory and Mozelle H. White of Granite Falls, NC..
