It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Rolland Eggers of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mayce Phillips Eggers; his siblings, Bob Eggers and Jeanette Grimes; and his great grandchild Corbin Eggers. He is survived by: his children, Danny Eggers (Iris) of Lincolnton, Randy Eggers (Genia) of Hickory, Cindy Cook (Steve) of Forest, VA, Sandy Huffman (Keith) of Claremont and Candy Tomblin (Keith) of Taylorsville; his siblings, Johnny Eggers (Mary), Vickie McKinney (Mike) and Jean Patterson (Joe) of Whitesboro, TX; his grandchildren, Cody Eggers (Carla), Allison Chapman (TJ), Brandon Eggers (Kayla), Kyle Eggers (Meredith), Kristin Glassgow (Chad), Nathaniel Cook (Meea), Natalie Cook (Will), Christian Huffman (Brittany), Cassie Huffman (Nick), Logan Walters (Jayla), Kaden Tomblin, Maci Cook, Courtney Moseley (Justion), Connor Tomblin, David Propst (Amy), Tabitha Byers (Sport), Matt Waters (Katie), Mandy Palmer (Caleb) and Megan Yancey (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Carter Joseph, Colton, Landon, Henry, Remi, Mallory, Emma Grace, Luke, Mason, Brayden, Parker, Jaxon, River, Carter Joe, Pharris, Brendan, Caroline, Logan, Hazel, Cannon and Bexley.
