He is survived by: his children, Carla Goodwin Everett, Marie "Toni" Goodwin Querry, Bonnie Goodwin Bishop, John Andrew Goodwin, Jr., Kenneth Kelly, Adam Goodwin and Tammy House Martin; and his brother J. L. Goodwin.
