He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Watson Hoover; and his siblings, James H. "Jimmy" Hoover, Marcus Joe Hoover, Mary Frances Hoover Hayes and Lillie Hoover Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hoover (Cheryl), Tom Hoover (Monica), Cheryl Teague (Gary) and Elizabeth Davis (Jeff); his siblings, Eloise Hoover Parsons (Tom) and Robert D. "Bob" Hoover (Shirley); his sister-in-law Mary Ethel Hoover; his grandchildren, Jenna Pritchard (Brandon), Katie Brakefield (Luke), Emily Bowman (Chad), Bradley Hoover (Katie), Katherine Mabe (Michael), Marcus Hoover, Spencer Davis, Taylor Hoover and Erin Davis; and his great grandchildren, Hattie Brakefield, Cade Pritchard, Braeden Bowman, Aubrey Bowman, Henry Brakefield and Finley Pritchard.
