He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Maxwell Morton and Lillie Florence Efird Morton; and his sisters, Florence M. Morgan, Bertha "Bea" M. Isenhour (Steve) of Hickory, NC and Deborah M. Hutchinson (Lewis) of Albemarle, NC. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
