He is survived by: his wife Clarene Funderburk Hourihan; his children, Darrin Michael Hourihan (Donna) of Conover and Karen Hourihan Johnson (James) of Mint Hill; and his grandsons, Joseph Johnson of Mint Hill and Zachary Johnson of Mint Hill.
