He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Howland Mayo and Margaret Madolia Russell Mayo; and his son James "Jamie" Patrick Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Barlowe Mayo of Hickory; his daughters, Cheri Renee Mayo Sipes of Hickory and Lisa Michelle Mayo Eisenberg of Wilmington; the mother of his children Joanne Mayo of Mountain View; his brother Arthur Earl Mayo of Atlanta; and his sibling's children, Austin Isaac Soto, Sophie Anne Eisenberg and Bentley Patrick Eisenberg.
