He is survived by: his children, Pamala Carson-Phelps (Antonio) of Georgia, Brianna Carson of Hickory, Melissa Ferguson of Conover, Angelica Carson-Wright of Hickory, Kimberly Ferguson of Hickory and Kevin Ferguson of Catawba; and his siblings, Fannie Cobb of Hickory, Joyce Capel of Hickory, Mary Carson of Hickory, Kenneth Carson (Shirley) of Hickory and William Carson (Linda) of Hickory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, close friends.
