We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2020, at the age of 92, Joy Crapps Stroupe (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maury Simeon Crapps and Eulalia Wilson Crapps Poindexter; her husband John Cristwell Stroupe, Jr.; and her brothers, Robert Wilson Crapps and William Eddie Crapps.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Stroupe Lawson (Franklin) of Hickory and Joy Penny Stroupe of Maitland; her grandchildren, Charity Elizabeth Palmer (Jason) of Mebane, N. C. and Graham Wilson of Hickory, N. C.; and her great grandchildren, Elise of Mebane, N. C, Nora of Mebane, N. C, Sadie of Mebane, N. C and Millie Palmer of Mebane, N. C.
