She was predeceased by: her parents, John Silvis and Sarah Silvis; her husband Lester D. Keasey; her sons, Mark Keasey and Paul A. Keasey; her sister Dona Shuptar; and her grandson-in-law Frankie Alphin.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jeannie Keasey of Boone; her grandchildren, Kristin Alphin of Hickory, Kristi McQueen (James) of Boone, Sarah Keasey of Mebane and Richard Matheson (Tara) of Clemmons; her great grandchildren, Keasey Alphin of Hickory, Brooklynn Matheson of Clemmons and Jeremiah McQueen of Boone; and her nieces, Kim Penney, Kathy Kingsley and Karen Kelland.
