She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert "Zack" and Lillie McNeilly Leatherman; and her sisters, Kathleen Leatherman, Virginia Dare Leatherman, Merle Powell, Meldonia Bivens, Josephine Leatherman and Ruby Pope.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Finding; her daughter DeLane Bowman (Duane) of Hickory; her brother Charlie Leatherman (Dorothy) of Bethlehem; and her sister-in-law Ruthann Goodson (Donnie) of Wadsworth, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
