She is survived by: her husband Ted Gortney; her children, Anna Rhea of Johnson City, TN, Melissa "Missy" Nelson (Steven) of Unicoi, TN and Michael Smith (Rebekah) of Mountain City, TN.; her stepdaughters, Tina Farris, Angela Yoder and Nicole Fisher; and her sister Goldie Tolley. She is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
