He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Triplett and Easter Carlton Triplett; and his sister Nancy Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Debra Triplett of Hickory; his son Bobby Triplett (Lora) of Hudson; his stepsons, Patrick Bradberry (Laura) of Dallas and Jonathon Bradberry (Halley) of Hickory; and his siblings, Jackalene Ward of Lenoir, Willa Dean Rich (Clay) of Lenoir, Wilma Jean Lawhon of Granite Falls, Bonnie Farr (Gary) of Hudson and Marshall Triplett (Dawn) of Lenoir. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
