With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Collins Smart (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on November 20, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Collins and Helen Bridgers Collins; her grandfathers, Horace Bridgers of Florence, SC and John Collins of Dobson, NC; her parents-in-law, Lucy and Everett Smart; and her stepson Scott O. Smart.
She is survived by: her pets, Chloe and Annie; her husband Belvin Smart of Hickory; her children, Bradley Bolch (Doris), Neel Bolch (Kristy) and Kristen Murphy (Michael); her stepdaughter Beth S. Fonnesu (Robert); and her grandchildren, Sydney Austin, Anthony Fonnesu, Madison Bolch, Isabella Fonnesu, Hannah Bolch, Kalea Bolch and Sam Bolch.
